Figure Model (CCRI)
The Art, Art History & Design Department at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) is seeking figure models for life drawing and related courses. Models may be asked to pose nude, semi-nude, or clothed, depending on the needs of the class.
This role supports student learning by providing a live subject for observational drawing and other studio work. We are looking for individuals who are comfortable posing in a variety of positions and working in a respectful, collaborative classroom environment.
Responsibilities:
- Attend scheduled sessions and follow instructor direction
- Hold poses for varying lengths of time (from a few minutes up to 20–30 minutes)
- Maintain stillness and adjust positioning as needed
- Communicate any discomfort to ensure a safe and supportive environment
Requirements:
- Must not be a current CCRI student
- Comfort with nude, semi-nude, or clothed modeling
- Ability to hold poses for extended periods
- Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
- Prior experience is helpful but not required
