Shawn G. Parker

Bio

Shawn Parker worked for twenty-five years as an educator, planner, and program director at museums such as Old Sturbridge, the Mashantucket Pequot Museum, the Heritage Harbor project, and the Newport Art Museum before returning to the classroom to teach at CCRI as an adjunct instructor in 2010, then as an Assistant Professor in 2012. He holds a B.A. from the University of Connecticut and an M.A. from Binghamton University (SUNY), where he specialized in the history of photography.

Shawn also serves as the Gallery Director for the CCRI Art Gallery at the Flanagan Campus in Lincoln.
