Content Creation in Ultra shifts from folders to learning modules. This change allows both vertical and horizontal navigation of course materials. You can do the same things that you did with your content in Blackboard Original, but the look and feel are streamlined for mobile devices. Ultra also leverages the AI Design Assistant to help you create engaging images, modules. and layouts to increase student interactions.

Structuring the Course
Using Learning Modules
Learning modules are the basic container in Ultra but have a table of contents for easy navigation. Learning modules move horizontally instead of vertically in the course. You can organized these learning modules in a number of way.

Note: Avoid activating Forced Sequence in a learning module. Checking Forced Sequence will impact a number of diverse student groups and reduce performance.

Documents now have the same functionality as blank pages, module pages, item, audio, file, and image. Document is a page where you can add, link or embed a multiple types of content in one simple container. Documents are the foundational type of content within learning modules.
