The Community College of Rhode Island Theatre Program provides affordable access to
an associate’s degree with a concentration in Theatre.
Through excellent teaching, quality courses and productions, and ongoing transfer
agreements with many schools, we offer theatre students the opportunity to acquire
the knowledge and skills necessary for effective transfer to a four-year theatre program.
With a range of course offerings and opportunities for performance and work in various
technical areas, the program also engages the general student in the art of theatre
for the promotion of lifelong creative, communication, critical thinking, and social
interaction skills.
