The Chamber Ensemble is CCRI’s instrumental opportunity for any combination of instrumentalists
to gather and make great music. Directed by Dr. Audrey Kaiser, the Chamber Ensemble is a blend of string, wind, percussion instruments and the
newly formed CCRI Piano Ensemble. The Chamber Ensemble brings together these diverse
instrumentalists to perform Classical Orchestral Literature, Jazz and Broadway music,
as well as Symphonic Band Literature. The Ensemble gives a full performance at the
end of each semester in the Bobby Hackett Theatre, open to the public and free of
charge. All acoustic instrumentalists and pianists of different skill levels are welcome,
both music majors and non-majors alike. Musicians must be able to read music. The
Chamber Ensemble fulfills the AFA Music degree requirements for major ensemble credits.
