The Community College of Rhode Island is a member of the National Association of Schools of Music.
We endeavor to provide engaging, high quality musical and educational experiences
to our students and the surrounding community. We accomplish this through a wide range
of activities including performing, teaching and scholarship, and service to the community.
Our resources include experienced and accomplished faculty, dedicated library materials
and an atmosphere which seeks to collaborate with other disciplines.
Furthermore, our mission is enhanced by the contributions of many visiting artists
and programs who have established themselves throughout New England and the nation.
The Department provides CCRI and the surrounding community with the only comprehensive
