Careers ACKtually and Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) are partnering to bring post-secondary education and career development to Nantucket Island.

Careers ACKtually is working with to eliminating post-secondary and career education barriers created by geography, socio- economics, age, race or gender. Partnered with community colleges, local businesses, and other non-profits, nantucket residents will engage in certificate programs, Associate degrees and beyond. The goal is to support a workforce that can meet the island’s needs, now, and in the future.

At the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI), we are dedicated to providing high-quality educational and workforce training programs that meet the needs of both students and employers in our community. CCRI enrolls nearly 40,000 students annually across its academic certificate and degree programs, workforce training programs, adult education, and driver education programs. With a passionate commitment to student success and closing equity gaps, CCRI provides students with an outstanding college education that leads to strong learning outcomes, successful degree attainment, seamless transfer opportunities, and robust labor market outcomes.
