Program Requirements

Be sure to meet these Culinary Arts Program Requirements including possible lab fees, being able to adhere to the on-site class schedule, and being ServSafe Food Handler certified.

Lab Fees

Students must acquire personal kitchen equipment and attire, including two pairs of chef pants, two chef jackets, a skull cap, a thermometer, rubber-bottom kitchen-safe shoes, a knife kit, and a textbook. These will be assessed as a lab fee and students who are eligible for financial aid may have their lab fees fully or partially covered as part of their award package.

Scheduled Times

Students must be able to attend on one of the scheduled times on-site at our Newport Campus.

  • M & T: 8:30am - 2:30pm
  • M & T: 3:30pm - 9:30pm
  • W & R: 8:30am - 2:30am
  • W & R: 3:30pm - 9:30pm

Gen Ed courses can be taken online or on any campus of the student's choosing!

To be admitted to the program students must have a current ServSafe Food Handler certificate.
