In North Kingstown this week, Community College of Rhode Island President Rosemary A. Costigan, Ph.D., RN., Senesco Marine President Ted Williams, and Polaris MEP Director Christian Cowan announced a new 14-week collaborative welding program that combines on-site welding with classroom instruction and job shadowing opportunities.

CCRI Awarded $1.5 Million Grant to Expand Healthcare Workforce Training in Rural Rhode Island

The Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) announced it has been awarded $1.54 million through the RI Department of Labor and Training's RealJobs Rhode Island program and the Rhode Island Rural Health Transformation Program. The funding will empower CCRI to address the growing demand for qualified healthcare support professionals in the state's rural communities.
