Self Care and Resiliency
Program Description: During this two hour live, online presentation, participants will learn about self-care and resiliency, the role of stigma in adopting self-care strategies, benefits of self-care and the cost of avoiding self-care, various strategies of self-care, and how to develop and apply your own self-care plan.

Who Should Attend: Nurses, Social Workers, Dental Professionals, Allied Health Professionals, Health and Rehabilitative Sciences Students, and anyone working in the healthcare field.
Learning Objectives and Outcomes: At the completion of this activity, participants will:
- Self-report that they can define and describe self-care, resiliency, and the role of stigma in adopting self-care strategies.
- Gain knowledge of how to apply self-care strategies in development of a self-care plan.

Nurses: This program is being provided for 2.0 nursing contact hours by Community College of Rhode Island. Community College of Rhode Island is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the Northeast Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Dental Professionals: This program qualifies for credit through the Rhode Island Dental Association. The Rhode Island Dental Association is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance for a maximum of 2.0 hours.
Social Workers: An application has been submitted to Rhode Island School of Social Work, Continuing Education in Social Work, and is pending approval of continuing education contact hours.
