Experience what it’s like to live with dementia by walking in their shoes.
Second Wind Dreams’ Virtual Dementia Tour is an evidence-based, patented program designed to give you the opportunity to experience what dementia is like. This individualized, experiential tour teaches us how to provide better care.
Following the 8-minute Virtual Dementia Tour, you will debrief with a VDT Certified Trainer who will educate you on Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia. **Please allow approximately one hour from your designated start-time for completion of the VDT and the debrief. **
**Please note that the VDT® is a simulation of what dementia might be like and is NOT a test to assess dementia including Alzheimer’s disease.
**Participants who are under 18 years of age must have parental/guardian permission documented on CCRI's approved consent form to participate in the Virtual Dementia Tour.
