Clear Wednesdays

Guests will experience guided views through the 16-inch telescope, seeing objects such as the Moon, Jupiter, Venus, Star Clusters, Nebulae and more! 

8/12/2026  Partial Solar Eclipse & Perseid Meteor Shower Double-Feature

PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE: please joins us this Wednesday from 1pm-3pm for a viewing of the Partial Solar Eclipse.  Eclipse glasses are availble, as well as Telescopes equiped with white light solar filters for safe viewing of the eclipse. This event will be held at the Gazebo near the front entrance to CCRI Knight Campus.

PERSEID METEOR SHOWER: return later that evening for Public Open Night at the Jacoby Observatory, 8pm-10pm, which will take place during the Perseid Meteor Shower.

Both events are Clear Sky Dependent.  If the day or evening becomes too cloudy we will cancel the event(s) and post to this page.
