Driver’s Ed training now offered at CCRI’s Woonsocket Campus through December

September 16, 2022

Beginning September 19, the Community College of Rhode Island is now offering Driver’s Ed training throughout the fall semester at its satellite campus at the Woonsocket Education Center, located at 115 Main St., in Woonsocket.

Driver’s Ed training in Woonsocket is held on weeknights from 5:30–8:30 pm with select courses available on weekday mornings and early afternoons in December. A full schedule of classes can be found at ccri.edu/workforce. Maximum capacity is 30 students per class.

The earliest course begins September 19 and ends October 19 with 11 sessions over the duration of 30 days. Students can also register for one of two nine-session courses in December with 8:30 am–12 pm and 12:30–4 pm time slots available.

CCRI is the only Driver’s Ed provider in Rhode Island allowed to administer the RI-DMV part of the Driver’s Ed course, expediting the time between completing the class and getting a driver’s permit.
