Bio
With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, Jodi began her career as a scrub tech and CNA in labor and delivery, where a passion for maternal and neonatal care first took root. She earned a BSN from Colorado Mesa University, an MSN in Nursing Education from Capella University, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Rhode Island.
Throughout her career, Jodi has earned certifications in High-Risk Neonatal Intensive Care (RNC-NIC), External Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM), and is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE). She is also an instructor for NRP and holds certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and S.T.A.B.L.E.
Jodi’s teaching experience includes didactic courses in maternity, pediatrics, pharmacology, and dosage & calculations. Her simulation roles span pediatrics and maternity, along with serving as Director of Simulation Programs at various colleges and universities.
Jodi is actively involved in professional organizations and currently serves as Treasurer for Sigma’s Delta Upsilon Chapter-at-Large. She is also a proud member of AWHONN, NANN, NLN, the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), and INACSL.
