In addition to providing academic support services to students through tutoring, academic coaching, and New Student Orientation, we offer several services for faculty.
Virtual Classroom Visits & Mini Workshops
Do your students complain about not having enough time to do their homework? Are you concerned about the effort or lack of effort your students are displaying in your classes? An academic coach can visit your classes to provide mini-workshops on organizational, time, and study strategies. These sessions are customizable to your subject area.
Early Alerts through Starfish Flags
Starfish is an easy and efficient online communication system that allows you to communicate with your students about course attendance and course grades, with the ability to refer your students for extra support such as tutoring, the Writing Center, Advising & Counseling, and Career Services. As a professor, you are able to send your students a Kudo for good work or improvement and for an academic concern. Click here to review the Starfish flag descriptions.
