CCRI seeks bidders for healthy dining options
Jan. 30, 2019
The Community College of Rhode Island is seeking innovative responses to a request for proposals to offer healthy dining and vending options in a welcoming environment at each of the college’s four campuses.
The RFP looks to future partners to address many aspects of food service offerings including affordability, diversity, wellness, sustainability and food insecurities. In a recent survey regarding dining services, members of the college community said variety and a comfortable place to enjoy themselves are integral to creating a sense of community and a positive campus experience.
This RFP allows CCRI to continue building and supporting our Rhode Island community by considering local sourcing, partnerships and hiring within the state. The current dining services contract will expire at the end of June. View the RFP solicitation online.
