CCRI hires Shannon as assistant professor of English

Rebecca Shannon of Warwick recently was named assistant professor of English at the Community College of Rhode Island.

Shannon has served as an adjunct instructor at CCRI since 2010, teaching a variety of developmental and college-level English, communication and English as a second language courses. In 2017, she received the employee recognition award for teaching excellence at CCRI.

Shannon earned her Master of Education in teaching English as a second language, Master of Arts in Teaching in elementary education, and a Bachelor of Arts in communications, speech and hearing sciences at Rhode Island College.
