Video Accessibility

Best practices for creating accessible video:

  • Script before you record. Scripting will save you time on transcribing transcripts during post-production.
  • Always use a microphone when recording... microphones improve auto-caption accuracy.
  • Make sure the autoplay option is not turned on for embedded videos. Autoplay interferes with navigation for users who use a screen reader.
