Bio

Dr. Rajotte-Bedard is a graduate of St. Joseph Hospital, School of Nursing’s diploma program in Providence RI, Rhode Island College’s BSN program, University of Rhode Island’s MS in Kinesiology, Northwestern State University’s MSN program Natchitoches, LA and URI’s FNP & DNP programs. She has taught nursing for greater than 20 years at the Community College of Rhode Island and currently holds the rank of full professor. She co-chairs the “Advancing Nursing Education” committee for the Future of Nursing Rhode Island Action Coalition (RIAC). For the past three years, her area of interest was to enhance health outcomes through preceptor education by contributing to RIAC’s first statewide Nurse Residency Program entitled Passport-to-Practice (P2P). She is also an ANCC board certified FNP and is retired from the United States Air Force as a full colonel.  She holds professional memberships in ANA and RISNA.
