Bedford and Dioh Run Season-Best to End Season!

Warwick, R.I. – November 1, 2021: Two Community College of Rhode Island Cross Country runners travelled to Roger Williams Park Temple of Music in Providence, RI to compete in the Providence Running Club Fall Comers 5k on Saturday. Both CCRI runners: Nathan Bedford (Rumford, RI) and Nicole Dioh (Woonsocket, RI) ran season-best times to finish their 2021 Cross Country Season.

For the Knights Nathan Bedford placed 14th in a fine time of 18 minutes 55.10 seconds this was Bedford’s personal-best in a Knights Cross Country jersey. For the Lady Knights Nicole Dioh placed 56th in a nice time of 23:49.10 for her personal best as a Lady Knight. CCRI Head Coach Gregg Cornell commented after the race: “Both Nathan and Nicole were happy with their efforts. It was nice to see athletes end their seasons on a good note.”

This meet ends the CCRI Cross country season as neither student-athlete will compete in the NJCAA DIII Cross Country Nationals at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville GA November 13th.
