Knights Basketball Head to Minnesota for National Tournament

Warwick, R.I. – March 9, 2020: The CCRI Knights basketball team hits the road as they travel to Rochester, MN to take part in the NJCAA DIII National Tournament. The Knights hold the 12th seed and will face off with the fifth seeded Richland College Thunderducks (TX) on Wednesday, March 11th at 3:00 pm. The game can be watched on NJCAA Championship TV and you can also follow along with live stats, both links are down below.

CCRI head to Rochester with a 23-10 overall record after winning the Region XXI/ East District Championship. Richland earned their ticket through an “At-Large Selection” after finishing the season with a 25-5 record and being ranked No. 4 in the Nation (NJCAA DIII Poll). The Knights have no rose to No. 14 in the nation themselves, their first spot on the rankings this season.
