Launch your welding career with CCRI’s 14-week, 420-hour hands-on training program. Developed in partnership with Polaris MEP and Senesco Marine, the program prepares participants for entry-level welding positions in manufacturing, shipbuilding, construction, and fabrication by building the technical skills and practical experience employers value.

Students train using industry-standard equipment while developing safe work practices, welding techniques, and fabrication skills in a modern welding lab.

No prior welding experience is required. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED and be authorized to work in the United States.

  • OSHA 10 General Industry
  • Shop safety and PPE
  • SMAW (Stick) Welding
  • GMAW (MIG) Welding
  • FCAW (Flux Core) Welding
  • GTAW (TIG) Welding
  • Oxy-fuel and plasma cutting
  • Blueprint reading and weld symbols
  • Metal fabrication and fit-up
  • AWS D1.1 performance qualification testing in FCAW, GMAW, and GMAW-S welding processes across horizontal and vertical positions
  • Resume development and interview preparation
