ParaPathways

ParaPathways Assessment can be used to certify teacher’s aides and assistants in the instruction of Reading, Writing and Math to school children.

The ParaPathways Assessment is designed for individuals who are seeking to become or/are currently serving as paraeducators who support classroom teachers. ParaPathways assesses the essential skills necessary to help students develop foundational skills in Reading, Writing and Math.

The test is computerized and in-person. It is split into two separately times subsets: Reading & Writing and Mathematics with a total allotment time of 145 minutes.

ParaPathways Review Classes are in-person and students will need to have internet access and g-mail address to be able to access Google Classroom in order to take this class.

ParaPathways Assessment Test Registration Information

  1. Optional: ParaPathways Review Class, see schedule below
  2. Online registration is paid by credit card ONLY
  3. Cash, check or money order walk-in registrations will be accepted in our office locations
  4. Review and sign the ParaPro Assessment Guidelines for Candidates, includes list of acceptable photo identification
  5. Bring acceptable photo identification to test
  6. ParaPathways is developed, administered, and scored by ETS - ParaPathways Assessment
  7. To request testing accommodations, please register through ETS Disability Services

ParaPathways Assessment Review Class (Optional)

This class prepares students to take the ParaPathways Assessment. Instruction, review, and practice are provided in reading, mathematics, and writing skills. Cost is $75 (includes $10 non-refundable registration fee). Total time is 12 hours.
