Withdrawal Information

Fall 2023

Official Complete Withdrawal: This is when a student officially withdraws from ALL registered courses during weeks three through 10 or two-thirds the length of the course. A grade of W will be assigned to the withdrawn course(s). This is included in attempted credits but not in the grade point index.

Students can withdraw from one or up to all courses online through MyCCRI in College Scheduler (see Dropping a Class in College Scheduler video for instructions *note where the video says drop, you will see withdraw*)

When withdrawing from registered courses through College Scheduler in MyCCRI, students acknowledge it is past the refund period and that withdrawing from CCRI courses does not relieve any outstanding financial obligations. [Click here for drop and withdrawal dates].  To access the Complete Withdrawal Form or if there are specific circumstances that are preventing you from withdrawing from your courses online, please email [email protected] for assistance.

If you are a RI Promise scholar and are unable to continue with classes in a semester due to unforeseen circumstances, you may be eligible for a leave of absence.  See RI Promise Leave of Absence for more information.

If you are a high school student currently enrolled in CCRI's dual enrollment program, please contact your High School Guidance Counselor before making any changes to your schedule.
