New Student Registration

Once your placement scores (ACCUPLACER, SAT) have been recorded, your next step is to register for a Virtual Drop-in Advising Session at

The purpose of the Virtual Drop-in Advising Session is to help with the following:

  • Ease your transition to college life.
  • Meet one-on-one with an Academic Advisor/Counselor who will review your placements, help you select and register for your classes, and assist you in developing your Education Plan.
  • Assist you in navigating your MyCCRI account.

Your success is paramount to us and therefore you can be comfortable knowing that during your Virtual Drop-in Advising Session, the Advising Center staff will assist you through the entire registration process.

PLEASE NOTE:  Classes fill up quickly. We encourage you to schedule your Virtual Drop-in Advising Session as soon as possible to get the best selection of classes.

After you register for classes, you will be assigned to an Advisor.  Be on the lookout for an email about attending a Meet and Greet Session where you will have an opportunity to connect with your Advisor and other students. You will not be assigned an Advisor until you register for your classes so be sure to schedule your Virtual Drop-in Session as soon as possible.
