IT Enterprise Leadership 

Provides strategic leadership and direction across enterprise-wide IT operations, including the oversight of technical teams, complex project delivery, and enterprise systems integration. Leads high-impact initiatives involving cloud-based, on-premise, and hybrid infrastructure—including data centers, security frameworks, and digital transformation efforts—with a strong emphasis on alignment with institutional goals. Manages enterprise software contracts, procurement, and vendor relationships while administering high-level system permissions, escalation protocols, and emergency change management.

Champions the integration of next generation technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) and automation to enhance analytics, operational efficiency, and end-user experiences. Develops and executes strategic technology roadmaps that support data-informed decision-making and continuous service improvement. Cultivates a collaborative, service-oriented culture focused on innovation, reliability, and excellence in IT enterprise service delivery.

Office of the Executive Director

The Office of the Executive Director supports the strategic vision and operational leadership of the IT Executive Director. This office plays a critical role in advancing enterprise architecture, customer relations, communications, and cross-functional alignment across the institution.

It includes the Enterprise Architect function, which serves as the bridge between institutional needs and scalable technology solutions—ensuring that systems and infrastructure are secure, interoperable, and future-ready. The office also manages stakeholder engagement, service communications, and customer success strategies, helping drive a cohesive, transparent, and responsive IT experience for the entire campus community.

Development Operations (DevOps)   

The DevOps unit, manages the administration, integration, and modernization of the college’s core infrastructure. This team ensures the reliable operation of both on-premise and cloud-based systems, including data centers, virtualized environments, and enterprise servers.

Key responsibilities include managing DevOps pipelines, Active Directory, Microsoft services, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Through automation, system orchestration, and performance optimization, DevOps plays a critical role in driving innovation, enhancing system reliability, and supporting secure, scalable technology services across the institution.

Solutions and Access Management

The Solutions and Access Management unit plays a critical role in securing, governing, and coordinating access to institutional data and enterprise applications. This team leads efforts in innovative integration solutions, access control, and technical project support, ensuring proper alignment between data usage and institutional policies.

Key responsibilities include managing application administration and access provisioning for systems such as Ellucian Banner (institutional ERP) and Workday (state ERP), while coordinating integration solutions across platforms. The unit serves as a central hub for overseeing secure access, maintaining data integrity, and facilitating collaboration between IT, administrative offices, and academic stakeholders to ensure compliance, usability, and operational continuity.

Databases Management

The Database Management unit is responsible for the performance, integrity, and security of institutional databases across critical applications. This team oversees database upgrades, patching, maintenance, and complex migrations. It also manages application administration for enterprise platforms, ensuring data reliability and availability to support institutional operations. Through close collaboration with other IT units, this group plays a key role in backend infrastructure, system integration, and disaster recovery planning.

Programming and Analytics - Student & Academic Areas

The Programming and Analytics unit for Student and Academic Systems provides enterprise-level development and analytical oversight for student/academic-facing applications, CRM platforms, enterprise reporting, and analytics environments. The team supports and administers core institutional systems including Ellucian Banner Student modules, Element 451, Civitas, Degree Works, Ellucian Insights, Argos, Power BI, and related SaaS and analytical platforms, ensuring the integrity, availability, and effective use of institutional data across the student lifecycle.

This unit is responsible for the development, integration, and optimization of enterprise applications and reporting tools that support key operational areas including Admissions, Registrar, Student Services, Academic Affairs, Institutional Research, Workforce, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, etc.. Through close collaboration with institutional stakeholders, the team delivers automation, analytics, and system enhancements that improve operational efficiency, enable informed decision-making, and strengthen the student experience.

Working closely with IT Enterprise DevOps within cloud computing environments, the unit supports secure integrations, data pipelines, and analytical workflows that connect enterprise platforms such as MyCCRI (Ellucian Experience), Ellucian Insights, learning management systems (LMS), academic advising systems, and student engagement applications. These integrations ensure reliable data exchange across platforms and support institution-wide reporting, predictive analytics, and emerging AI-driven insights.

In collaboration with Online Learning and other enterprise technology teams, the unit ensures accurate and consistent data flows into downstream systems, maintaining LMS hierarchy, reporting fidelity, and analytics consistency. Through a focus on scalable architecture, system reliability, data governance, and advanced analytics, the Programming and Analytics unit supports institutional accountability, operational insight, and a data-informed approach to enrollment management, student engagement, and student success.

Programming and Analytics - Employee Areas 

This unit leads the development, integration, and operational support of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and analytics systems that enable the College’s employee and administrative operations. The team administers and enhances key institutional platforms including Ellucian Banner, Workday, Argos, Ellucian Insights, and other SaaS-based enterprise applications, ensuring reliable system performance, data integrity, and effective reporting across administrative functions.

Core functional areas supported include Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Budget, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable, where the team works closely with business stakeholders to design system enhancements, streamline business processes, and implement automation that improves operational efficiency and compliance with state and institutional requirements.

Beyond day-to-day system support, the unit develops and maintains enterprise data integrations, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools that provide leadership and operational teams with timely, accurate insights for financial planning, workforce management, and institutional accountability. The team also plays a key role in data governance, audit readiness, and regulatory reporting, ensuring that enterprise data is structured, secure, and aligned with institutional policies and state guidelines.

Working collaboratively with IT Enterprise DevOps and cloud services, the unit supports secure data pipelines, system integrations, and scalable reporting environments that connect ERP platforms with downstream analytics and institutional reporting systems. Through a focus on reliability, data quality, and continuous improvement, the Programming and Analytics – Employee Areas unit enables the College’s administrative divisions to operate efficiently while supporting strategic planning and enterprise-wide decision-making.
