Programming and Analytics - Student & Academic Areas
The Programming and Analytics unit for Student and Academic Systems provides enterprise-level development and analytical oversight for student/academic-facing applications, CRM platforms, enterprise reporting, and analytics environments. The team supports and administers core institutional systems including Ellucian Banner Student modules, Element 451, Civitas, Degree Works, Ellucian Insights, Argos, Power BI, and related SaaS and analytical platforms, ensuring the integrity, availability, and effective use of institutional data across the student lifecycle.
This unit is responsible for the development, integration, and optimization of enterprise applications and reporting tools that support key operational areas including Admissions, Registrar, Student Services, Academic Affairs, Institutional Research, Workforce, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, etc.. Through close collaboration with institutional stakeholders, the team delivers automation, analytics, and system enhancements that improve operational efficiency, enable informed decision-making, and strengthen the student experience.
Working closely with IT Enterprise DevOps within cloud computing environments, the unit supports secure integrations, data pipelines, and analytical workflows that connect enterprise platforms such as MyCCRI (Ellucian Experience), Ellucian Insights, learning management systems (LMS), academic advising systems, and student engagement applications. These integrations ensure reliable data exchange across platforms and support institution-wide reporting, predictive analytics, and emerging AI-driven insights.
In collaboration with Online Learning and other enterprise technology teams, the unit ensures accurate and consistent data flows into downstream systems, maintaining LMS hierarchy, reporting fidelity, and analytics consistency. Through a focus on scalable architecture, system reliability, data governance, and advanced analytics, the Programming and Analytics unit supports institutional accountability, operational insight, and a data-informed approach to enrollment management, student engagement, and student success.
