College and community events are held campus-wide on any of our four campuses.
Community groups can be reserved college event spaces by contacting the Facilities Administration Office at 401-825-2015.
We strongly encourage community groups to get oriented with the equipment and the
presentation space. Walk-through orientations can be arranged for events requiring
multimedia projection, microphone and audio setup.
It is recommended that community groups provide their own AV technician to support
their entire event. Questions concerning scheduled community events should be directed
to the Facilities Use Coordinator.
College faculty and staff can reserve college event spaces by contacting Cathy Tessier
at [email protected]. Contact Physical Plant for required staging and furnishings.
To request multimedia technology, submit the online Request Event Support. Submittals are required at least two weeks in advance of an event. Confirmations
of event technology reservations will be sent to the originator of the request.
Notification of event alterations is required 24 hours in advance. Last minutes changes
may not accommodated due to lack of required time, staffing or available equipment.
It is highly recommended that any media to be used during the event be delivered to
(IT) Classroom Technology & Media Services department at least two days prior to the event to ensure compatibility with college
systems. The chart below lists the universal media data-file types:
