Additional Compensation

Overview

Stand-Alone Payments are processed on the internal payroll in either one installment or multiple installments. Add-on Payments are processed as one installment on the State Payroll.

• Stand-Alone Payments include those duties that are unrelated to an employee's full-time position such as new faculty mentorship, delivery of workshops, etc.
• Add-on Payments are those duties that are complementary to the employee's full-time position such as bonuses, compensatory time payout, examination proctoring, attending supplemental meetings and summer department chairperson responsibilities.
