Omar Manzo

Bio

My name is Omar Manzo. I am first generation Mexican American/Chicano and originally from Washington State. I also went to community college in my hometown of Yakima, WA, where I earned my AA. I then transferred to Central Washington University where I pursued my BA in Spanish with a double minor in Political Science and Latino and Latin American Studies.

My goal is to create a safe space for students where they feel welcomed and prepared to take on their higher educational goals. I hope to do my part to make education more equitable, one day at a time.

During my office hours, I can help you with academic advising, course selection, registration, choosing a major, and/or navigating the college environment. I am also here to answer any questions you might have about CCRI.
