Bio
I started my educational journey as a first-generation college student right here at CCRI, where I studied Office Management before transferring to Rhode Island College. There, I earned a BA in Psychology and a BS in Behavioral Health. I'm now continuing my education as a Master of Public Administration (MPA) student at the University of Rhode Island.
Like many students, I worked a wide variety of jobs to support myself—everything from community mental health and veterinary medicine to restaurant work, dog training, and medical billing. These roles shaped not just my skills, but also my values. I learned the importance of resilience, empathy, and showing up authentically—especially when life is anything but straightforward.
I bring a student-centered focus to my advising because I know how complex the college experience can be. I love working with CCRI students because I’ve walked a similar path. I understand what it’s like to juggle school, work, and life, and I value the diverse goals, interests, and identities each student brings. My goal is to create a supportive space where students feel heard, encouraged, and empowered to define success on their own terms.
Outside of work, you can find me playing video games, cooking, crafting, or hanging out with my cats.
