Carmen I. Vazquez

Bio

Carmen is a Student Success Coach at the Liston campus in Providence. She is a first-generation Latina graduate of Rhode Island College, where she majored in Youth Development. Currently, she is a graduate student at the same institution.

Before joining the Community College of Rhode Island, Carmen worked as an Executive Assistant at College Unbound. She also served as a High School Advisor at Onward We Learn, formerly known as the College Crusade of Rhode Island. Carmen is passionate about learning and is dedicated to helping others reach their full potential. She approaches her professional life through a culturally responsive lens, incorporating resourcefulness, empathy, strategy, and advocacy.
