Warwick, R.I. – June 11, 2018: CCRI Knights golf captain Tyler Boisclair (West Warwick, RI) took to the Lake Course at Chautauqua Golf Club in Chautauqua, NY for the fourth and final day of the NJCAA DIII National Championship. Tyler was tied for 28th place after three days of play with a total of 244 strokes (79, 85 & 80) for a total of 28 over par.

On the final day of competition, Boisclair produced another quality round of golf. Staying steady, Tyler shot a nine over par, 81 bringing his four-day total to 325 strokes (79, 85, 80 & 81) a respectable 37 over par. This earned Boisclair 34th place overall in a tie with fellow Region XXI golfer Chris McMorrow of Massasoit Community College.

Head Coach Jim Stringfellow: "Tyler had an outstanding season this year. Tyler was a huge asset to the team this past two years. His leadership not only on the course but in the classroom is a great example to the younger players. I hate to see him leave but I wish him well at Rhode Island College to finish his golf career and education."
