General Education Committee

The mission of the CCRI Faculty Senate General Education Committee is to oversee and periodically review and revise CCRI’s policy on General Education, facilitate the development of general education courses in accordance with the standards of the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) and the policies of the Rhode Island Council on Post-Secondary Education, provide feedback on, approve, or reject course applications for general education status, and monitor assessment of the general education curriculum.
