Raising essential funds to support student success at CCRI

 

SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS

Financial need is the greatest barrier for community college students. Your investment will help the Foundation run an extensive scholarship program to help students maintain momentum when earning their degrees—through support that includes enrolling in summer classes to meet degree needs to supporting a students’ comeback to college, you help make a college degree possible for students who would otherwise not be able to afford it.

 

BOOK AWARDS

Tuition doesn't begin to cover the real cost of a college education, and books can be incredibly expensive. Your investment in Book Awards will help purchase textbooks for students who need the extra support to ensure that they earn top marks in their classes and have the resources required to be a successful college student.

 

STUDENT EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND

CCRI students are up for the challenge of working hard and learning, and CCRI is committed to responding to the needs that result from socio-economic barriers that may get in the way. A small amount can create a huge impact—whether that be help with technology or a nourishing meal. When a student faces a one-time financial hardship or emergency, we respond with an emergency grant that keeps the student in school and focused on their studies, often meeting basic needs while seeing the student then thrive and finish what they started.

 

INNOVATION AWARDS

Your gift will help us to provide fellowships for faculty trainings, software and equipment, and innovations for their classrooms that support the student experience. Two years in, the Foundation’s Faculty Innovation Fellowship program has awarded 18 grants to date, and these efforts that benefit students require the seed-funding that your gift makes possible.

 

OPPORTUNITY FUND

The opportunity fund was launched with a goal of raising more support for students, faculty, and staff with initiatives such as comeback scholarships, a technology fund, faculty and staff engagement, and more. Your support, at any amount, will strengthen our college community.
