Step 1: Review Your Program Requirements
Start with your program requirements.
You must be currently registered and accepted into a degree or certificate program at CCRI to earn Credit for Prior Learning, and the prior learning must be used toward credits in your program of study.
In order to confirm that your prior learning/experience will be useful in your pursuit of your degree or certificate, we recommend that you begin your exploration of Credit for Prior Learning by reviewing your program requirements.

Current students can view their progress toward program requirements in Degree Works, by following the steps below:
Log into your MyCCRI account.
Once logged into your MyCCRI Account, Please follow these 3 steps:
- Click on "For Students" tab.
- Look for the "Registration Tools" section on the left side of the screen.
- Click on "Degree Work Degree Evaluation System" link. After doing so, your Degree Evaluation should be displayed on the screen.

As you explore Degree Works, you will want to take note of the areas you still need to earn credit in to satisfy your program requirements. This will help you match your prior learning/experience to specific courses you need credit for in order to pursue Credit for Prior Learning.
Start a list of the course(s) you would like to pursue for Credit for Prior Learning.
