CCRI offers several scholarship opportunities to help fund your college experience.
Rhode Island Promise
All Rhode Islanders coming right out of high school are eligible to pursue associate degrees at CCRI tuition-free.
CCRI Foundation Scholarships
Did you know that each year there are more than 100 scholarships available to help you pursue your education at CCRI?
Through the generosity of our individual and corporate donors, the CCRI Foundation and the Alumni Association offers scholarships for both full and part-time students. Scholarships can help cover tuition, books, fees and other education related expenses. Last year, the CCRI Foundation and Alumni Association provided more than $900,000 in financial assistance to CCRI students.
Outside Scholarship Opportunities
CCRI receives scholarship applications throughout the year. In an effort to provide updates on scholarships to our students, a list of scholarship opportunities is listed below. Applicants are encouraged to read the applications/requirements carefully and to adhere to established deadlines.
"Onward We Learn" Scholarship (Formerly College Crusades)
To be eligible for an Onward We Learn scholarship, you must earn admission to an accredited college, university or community college. You are eligible for a donated scholarship for up to six years after high school graduation or receipt of GED credential. You must request your first scholarship award before you turn 22 years old.
"Knowledge for College" Scholarship
To help Rhode Island Students cover tuition, reduce the need for college borrowing, and increase their knowledge of financial topics related to student lending, RISLA's Knowledge for College Scholarship provided a chance for entrants to win scholarship funds while in their senior year of high school or any year of college.
"Knowledge for College" Scholarship
Nurse Corps Scholarship Program
The Nurse Corps Scholarship Program provides financial support to students enrolled in nursing degree programs in exchange for a commitment to serve in high-need areas across the country. This year, Nurse Corps has additional funding for awards. Are you pursuing an NP degree in psychiatric mental health? An APRN or RN degree in women’s health or certified nurse midwifery? Or are you a CNA, home health aide, medical assistant, or LPN working towards your RN degree? You may be eligible for an award. Scholarship support includes tuition, fees, other reasonable educational costs, and a monthly living stipend.
Nurse Corps Scholarship Program
Rhode Island Indian Council
The Rhode Island Indian Council (RIIC) has obligated funds to CCRI for eligible and tribally enrolled Native Americans. For more eligibility information please click here.
