CCRI Foundation Scholarships
Scholarship Applications for Spring 2026 Semester are now open!
Did you know that each year, there are more than 100 scholarships available to help you pursue your education at CCRI?
Through the generosity of our individual and corporate donors, the CCRI Foundation and the Alumni Association offer scholarships for both full and part-time students. Scholarships can help cover tuition, books, fees, and other education-related expenses. Last year, the CCRI Foundation and Alumni Association provided more than $900,000 in financial assistance to CCRI students.
Before you apply, here are some tips on how you can improve your chances of success
- Applying for more scholarships increases your chances! Please apply for every single scholarship for which you are eligible. Often, you can use the same essays, but if you have named the scholarship in your essay, please update it with the right name for additional scholarships. The system generates a list of all the scholarships for which you pre-qualify.
- Tell the Review Committee why you deserve a scholarship. Focus on things like challenges you have overcome, current obstacles, future goals, accomplishments, and how you are working to pay for your education. Help them understand what you want to do following graduation.
- Start by reading all the questions. Because there are usually multiple questions in a scholarship application, it helps to read all the questions before you start answering. If you don’t, you may repeat yourself, which doesn’t make for the best application.
- Grammar and punctuation count! A helpful trick is to draft your answers in Word first, check for spelling and grammar, and then paste them into AwardSpring—it’ll save you time and make your responses shine!
- Help is available. Consider seeking assistance from CCRI’s Writing Center. If you have a friend or family member who is a good writer, you might consider asking them to proofread and provide you with feedback on your answers.
