The CCRI Student Film Festival takes place May 8–9, 2026 at the CCRI Warwick campus. Join us for a celebration of student filmmaking, free for students and open to the public!

The schedule: Our opening night gala is held on Friday evening. Then, spend all 

day Saturday taking in a full program of short films, panels, workshops and awards ceremony.

What to expect at the festival

The festival program showcases fiction, nonfiction, and animated short films created by CCRI students in and outside of the classroom. In a series of panels and workshops, industry professionals share their experience and techniques in a range of topics like film careers & academics, screenwriting, podcasting, cinematography, and sound mixing. In between program blocks, attendees can stop by one of our vendor tables. 

Entries are open to films made by CCRI students since January 2025. Entries open 12/1/2025.

 

Opening Night Gala


Friday, May 8, 2025 6:00 PM— 8:00 PM

Come dressed in your finest to walk the red carpet and celebrate this year's event. Mingle with the student filmmakers, faculty, and staff, and enjoy light refreshments.
