Bio
A native of Rhode Island, Professor Julie Felci became enamored with foreign languages
at a young age. She spent every childhood summer in Italy traveling and visiting
family and friends.
Julie Felci holds a B.A. Cum Laude from Rhode Island College in Italian Studies and
an M.A. from Università degli Studi di Firenze in conjunction with Middlebury College
with a concentration in Linguistics and Second Language Acquisition. She also holds
a Teaching Certification PK-12 through Providence College.
She is a state certified Italian and Spanish teacher with over 10 years experience
teaching various levels from high schools to higher education.
Julie Felci considers CCRI, a College and Community she loves, cherishes and calls
home. She is elated to be back at her home institution where her academic journey
first began along with her professional journey.
