I graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts in May of 2006 with my B.A. degree in Chemistry & Mathematics. I then attended graduate school at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in August of 2006, pursuing a Ph. D. degree in Chemistry, graduated in July of 2012. My Ph. D. dissertation was entitled the "Structural and Photophysical Properties of Internal Charge Transfer 2-Arylidene and 2,5-Diarylidene Cyclopentanone Dyes".

Prior to my start of teaching at CCRI, I taught as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in Chemistry at WPI in the Fall of 2012, and as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor in Chemistry at Assumption College in the Fall of 2013. From March 2014 - August 2017, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Chemist at the U.S. Army Natick Soldier, Research, Development, & Engineering Center in Natick, Massachusetts.
