CCRI’s Tutoring Center provides free in-person and online tutoring and academic coaching to help you achieve success.

Scheduling an Appointment
The Tutoring Center's services are appointment-based. To schedule any appointment for any of our services, please use Knight Success Hub.
Step 1: Access Tutoring Scheduling
- Log in to Knight Success Hub through the CCRI website. Choose Login by Username.
- Select Schedule Tutoring/Writing Center Session. Use this link for all our services.
- Click the Create button in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Choose a Location
Select the location where you would like to receive support. We have services across all campuses and online.
Step 3: Select a Session Type
Choose the type of support you are seeking: Course Tutoring, Academic Coaching, Reading Coaching, ELL Tutoring, Digital Skills Tutoring, or HESI A2.
Step 4: Select a Topic (If Applicable)
Some services may ask you to choose a topic related to the assistance you need.
Step 5: Select a Course
- Course selection is required for all Course Tutoring appointments.
- For other services, selecting a course is optional but encouraged whenever applicable.
Step 6: Select a Tutor
- Choose a tutor from the list provided.
- Knight Success Hub displays availability one tutor at a time. If you do not find a convenient appointment time, return and select another tutor to view that tutor's available appointments.
Step 7: Choose an Appointment Time
- Select an available appointment date and time.
- If available, choose either the in-person location or Zoom
Step 8: Finalize Your Appointment
- Review your appointment details.
- Click Create to schedule your appointment.
- You will receive a confirmation email with your appointment information.
24/7 Online Tutoring with Brainfuse
Students also have free access to Brainfuse, CCRI's online tutoring platform. Brainfuse provides on-demand academic support, writing assistance, and learning resources outside of regular Tutoring Center hours. Brainfuse can be accessed through Blackboard by selecting Tools from the Blackboard home page or Books & Tools within your course.
Student Lingo
Student Lingo offers free, 24/7 online workshops designed to help CCRI students build the skills they need for academic success. Topics include study strategies, time management, test-taking, motivation, stress management, and more. Create your own username and password at Student Lingo for CCRI to access workshops anytime, anywhere.
