A well-functioning Faculty Senate is essential to shared governance at the College.
As the Steering committee on the Senate, the mission of the Leadership Committee is
to ensure that the Faculty Senate is fully operational and effective. This is accomplished
by, but not limited to, facilitating the Faculty Senate committee process, assisting
in policy and resolution development, serving as a liaison between the college administration
and other faculty senators, and acting for the Senate during the interim between Senate
meetings.
