Maps Are For Everyone
Bring the power and possibilities of digital mapping to your classes. Learn how to
make maps with free, user-friendly, and powerful online software and data (ArcGIS
Online). Join Emily Burns and Renee Whitford, who will also introduce you to StoryMaps,
online presentations that allow you to combine searchable maps with text, photos,
video, and more. Find out how to design individual or collaborative mapping projects
for yourself and your students. You can make maps within one discipline or across
many; you can enhance students’ geographical literacy in any class by adding maps.
Come with ideas and we will help you map them.

JAA Transfer Degrees
This program constitutes a JAA transfer program to URI. Students completing a JAA plan receive an Associate's degree and enter the receiving institution with 60 credits and Junior status.
This JAA transfer program is designed to prepare students to transfer to the Physics B.S. program at URI, which provides a solid foundation in both theoretical and experimental physics.
