High School Enrichment applications are currently closed and will open on May 4 to align with available Fall 2026 semester offerings. The
Office of Postsecondary Commissioner (OPC) funds to support High School Enrichment
are limited and no longer available for summer terms.
The High School Enrichment Program offers high school juniors and seniors an opportunity to take college courses while in high school. It is a part-time program for students to enroll
in up to two courses (8 credits total) per semester. A high school counselor must
provide a recommendation for the student as well as course selections.
The student and guidance counselor must submit the following documents via email to
[email protected]. Subject Line: “Student’s Full Name, Birthdate”
High school transcript
PSAT/SAT/ACT score reports (1 required)
WIDA ACCESS score reports for ELL (optional)
Document submission is especially important with the college’s new multi-measure placement
model, where placement will be determined in a holistic manner, by looking at GPA
and all score reports. If a student wishes, they can also take the $30 Accuplacer test for higher course placement - after students receive their MyCCRI student account,
Accuplacer registration is available online. Refer to the course descriptions for prerequisites.
NOTE: Step 2 is required for final review of application.
After application completion, a DocuSign reminder email will be sent to the counselor.
This high school counselor approval form is required for all students participating
in CCRI High School Enrichment Programs for each semester.
Discuss course options with your high school counselor and include selected courses
on the DocuSign form. For homeschooled students, the student and parent/guardian determine
course selection with approval from the high school superintendent. Refer to the course descriptions for prerequisites.
IMPORTANT: Only courses approved by your high school counselor can be selected for registration.
For questions about textbook payment, contact your school district financial office.
Private and homeschooled students may be responsible for tuition and fees.
