Men's soccer program hosts Information Session this week for 2023 prospects

The Community College of Rhode Island men’s soccer program will host its first Information Session of the summer for new and returning students Wednesday, June 14 from 5:30–6:30 pm at the Lincoln Campus Fieldhouse.

Tryouts for the 2023 season begin in August. Information Sessions are designed for enrolled students interested in playing soccer at CCRI.

Coaches will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on what is needed for tryouts, which courses to register for, and detailed instructions on completing the mandatory student-athlete packet. All students interested in playing soccer in the fall are welcome to attend. 

CCRI is coming off a historic 2022 in which men’s soccer captured its first Region XXI title in 21 years and advanced to the NJCAA Division III Men’s Soccer National Tournament for the first time in program history under the guidance of head coach Gabe Toro.

CCRI punched its ticket to the national tournament with three wins in the Region XXI Tournament, including a 5-1 win over Holyoke Community College in the championship game.
