Bio

Professor John W. Montalbano has been teaching at CCRI since 2004.  He is a graduate of Boston College and St. John’s University School of Law. Professor Montalbano has for many years been a lecturer for the Rhode Island Bar Association’s Practical Skills Seminar series.  He has also been a guest lecturer at Roger Williams University School of Law.  Professor Montalbano is licensed to Practice Law in the State of Rhode Island and Commonwealth of Massachusetts.  He is also a member of the Federal Bar and is also admitted to practice Law before the United States Supreme Court.  As a private attorney Professor Montalbano has for many years specialized in Real Estate and Contract Law.  At CCRI he teaches primarily in the area of Law for Paralegal Studies.  His courses include Legal Research and Writing, Business Law, Contract Law, Torts and Property Law
