High school juniors are invited to see how health care, business, science and technolgy can lead to an exciting future.

  • Hack the Mystery: Become a Cyber Detective with Raspberry Pi 

    In this hands-on session, you’ll investigate digital evidence, track suspicious activity, and learn how cybersecurity experts think when they’re on the hunt for answers.

  • Math Logic, Riddling, and Puzzling 

    Students will have the opportunity to think creatively by performing activities involving math logic, riddles, games, and puzzles.

  • Guess the Occupational Therapy Gadget Learn how to measure grip strength and explore adaptive equipment/tools used to help people perform daily tasks as independently as possible.
  • EMS Rodeo 

     

    Students will be introduced to some of the real-life interventions in pre-hospital EMS by current students and EMS faculty.

  • Space Payload Descent Challenge 

    Your team is a STEM crew tasked with returning a capsule carrying a fragile “astronaut” (an egg) safely to Earth from the Moon.

  • The STEM of Care: Where Science Meets Compassion 

    Jump into action and use your STEM skills to see how nurses use science to keep the community healthy and improve healthcare

    .

  • Mystery of the Crooked Cell A bank robbery, a drop of blood, and a genetic twist. Students use forensic techniques to solve a crime!
  • Career Finder 

    Play matching games, explore your strengths, and use your competitive spirit to uncover STEM career options that fit you.

  • Natural Disasters

    An interactive session on before and after imagery in major

    disasters including fire, tornadoes, hurricanes, and floods.
  • Dwayne, Chris and Kid – which rock is which?

    Guiding students through methods used to understand how to distinguish the three types of rocks.

     

  • Exploring Careers in the Clinical Lab 

    Students will have the opportunity to perform simple, hands-on testing and observe demonstrations by our lab technicians showcasing daily clinical procedures.
  • Under Pressure 

    Explore how pressure and temperature shape our world. Experiment with how low pressure affects everyday phenomena in surprising ways.

  • Wait… That’s Geology? 

    Play a fast, interactive game that uncovers geology in unexpected places; discover how geology shapes the stories you already love and what a geology course is truly about.

  • Think Like A Designer Jump into a high-energy, hands-on lab where you’ll learn how designers create and test new ideas.
