Commencement is the celebration of our graduating class and an opportunity to look
back on the journey of our remarkable students, some of whom will enter the workforce,
transfer to a four-year university to continue their education, or apply the knowledge
gained at CCRI to whatever comes next in their journey.

On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) celebrated
its 61st Commencement Ceremony. Held at the Amica Mutual Pavilion, the event marked
the culmination of another academic year at CCRI, a year of transformation, opportunity,
and achievement for Rhode Islanders and each of our graduates.
At the ceremony, 900 excited graduates crossed the stage to receive their degrees
and certificates, cheered on by over 6,000 family members, friends, faculty, and alumni
in a day filled with pride, emotion, and inspiration.
