Work-based learning

I enjoyed learning how one’s education could lead to whole new pathways in one's career.” - COMM 1010 Student (Spring, 2024)

You may be hearing more about something called “work-based learning” at CCRI. Work-based learning (WBL) describes an education experience that is connected to real-world, work situations. Think of WBL as a chance to gain hands-on experience, connect with employers in your field of interest, build your resume, and explore career paths while earning college credits!

We are excited to increase our work-based learning offerings. See a full list of options through the Course Catalog.
