The AI and Data Privacy Task Group focused its efforts on student data and developed
best practices for use of AI applications by members of the CCRI community that comply
with relevant laws, regulations, and norms related to data privacy and security.

A 1-page summary of the best practices has been developed for distribution across
the college. Throughout F2026 it will be presented to the Senior Leadership Team,
Department Chairs Council, Faculty Senate, and Staff Assembly. Downloadable copies
will be available on the AI ICC's website and distributed broadly via CCRI's Knight
Knowledge newsletter.
